Our log cabin, along the South Fork of the Rio Grande River in South Fork, Colorado, is a fantastic place for a peaceful relaxing vacation or a exciting adventure.
We built our log cabin in 1996, and since then we have been lucky to have wonderful people, including friends and relatives, staying at our Cabin in South Fork, Colorado.
Follow the steps down to the river for easy access to the beautiful sights and sounds. We also built a great picnic table behind the house close to the river, where you can go and have a picnic, relax, watch your children and friends fish, or stargaze at night.
For the more adventurous guests, we suggest taking advantage of the Rio Grande National Forest. The edge of Rio Grande National Forest is within a short walking distance from the cabin. The Continental Divide trail is a short drive away and is always a beautiful hike. The area also has rock climbing, ice climbing, great mountain bike trails, fishing, and skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Area "the most snow in Colorado".
